Packing your whole life into a few suitcases isn’t easy. I still remember the first time I took the plane to begin my studies at the University of Liverpool three years ago and I had mixed emotions of leaving home. I met some amazing people from different nationalities and got involved with a couple of societies especially the international societies that make you feel at home. I liked the energy during my fresher’s week and then on a chilly autumn morning I attended my first lecture. Fast forward to my life now I graduated, and I decided to stick at the same university to do my masters, and here I am trust me it wasn’t an easy ride however it was all worth it! There will be highs and lows but make sure to enjoy the time that you’re here as a student because the friendships you make, the memories you create is what lasts forever. I am currently residing at the Iconinc The Ascent in Liverpool and I’m in love with my student accommodation. The staff here are very warm and welcoming, and they have the best facilities and events to get involved with.
