Dec, '18When you’re concentrating hard on revision, posture probably isn’t the first thing on your mind, and it’s all too easy to end up hunched over your laptop and hurting all over. To help you beat those post-revision session aches and pains, our Leeds-based personal trainer, Joe from [Motive8](http://www.m8north.co.uk/), recommends trying these simple stretches. And there’s no need to head to the gym, these easy moves can be done anywhere.
1. Chest stretch
Start by standing with your right side at a right angle to a door way. Then hold your right arm out so that it’s resting along the wall next to the door way. Next, put your right foot forward and shift your weight, leaning onto that foot. Once you feel stretching in your chest, hold that position and start to slowly twist your upper body to the left to really stretch those muscles out. Now do the same on your left side. Joe says, “This exercise will stretch your pectoralis major muscle and help to pull your shoulders back, combatting any aches from slouching at your desk.”
